I usually don’t blog on Mondays but I cannot let this day end without sharing a little poem taught to me several years ago by newspaper colleague Sarellen (Cawley) McAndrew.
Be a laborer,
great or small.
Do it well
or not at all.
It’s so simple. And so perfect.
It’s the right attitude to take to work with you tomorrow morning.
And as this Labor Day comes to a close, remember to be thankful for your job.
No matter what it is, it’s something to be proud of. And worth doing right.
